Chinese herbal medicine uses plant-based formulas to nourish the body's internal systems. In my practice, acupuncture directs energy toward areas that need support while herbal medicine gives those areas what they need to respond. Skilled practitioners achieve results with acupuncture alone — this reflects how I practice.

Most of the women I work with are seen two to three times a week — the frequency needed to build and maintain support during active phases of a cycle. This shifts depending on where you are in your cycle and how your body is responding.

It depends on your situation. Some women notice changes in cycle regularity, uterine lining, or follicle response within a few cycles. For those with more significant depletion or a longer treatment history, the process is more gradual. Every body is different.

For most women, no. The needles are extremely fine, fertility acupuncture is a gentle treatment, and many women fall asleep during sessions. Some points may produce a brief sensation — mild heaviness, warmth, or tingling — which settles quickly.

Yes — and this describes most of the women who find me. My role is to help the body recover, renourish, and become conception-ready again — often by rebuilding what the body has spent through treatment. Wherever you are in your journey is where we start.

Yes. Normal on a standard panel means results fall within a reference range — Chinese medicine looks at the body differently. I assess patterns and deficiencies standard bloodwork doesn't capture. In cases of unexplained infertility, Chinese medicine often identifies what's missing.
